/ My Story
My first mobile app
When I was 14 I liked building android apps since I could actually see and use the thing I built, my first real project was a calculator that calculates how much mortar, sand and bricks my dad needs to build a wall. He used to be a construction worker and used an excel sheet to calculate how much things he would need. After seeing I was programming android apps he asked me to make an app for him, I also started using github at that time just in case my pc crashed. You can see the project here: Metselcalculator

How I got into IT
When I was 12 years old I installed Linux on my mom’s laptop. While doing this I accidentally bricked her laptop, with only one evening left to fix it until my mom found out I got to work. Luckily only the windows bootloader was deleted and I fixed it just in time. During this, at the time stressful, situation, I learned a lot about computers.
In the next few weeks I fixed our old computer and started learning more about operating systems and learning a little bit of python on the side.

I learned linux on my own by using it for almost 6 years right now.

I have been developing android apps for 4 years and have been part of an FTC and after this a FRC team in which I also use Java.
